Requested a repair for my HP EliteBook. Diagnosed driver issue with SSD installation. Collected 21st December and returned on the 28th February. Unfortunately, I had to chase progress on my laptop repairs on multiple occasions. Having now received delivery of my laptop, it is clear the it has not been repaired at all. In fact, now my laptop won’t even turn on, where it previously had. I was told that my laptop had been stress tested, but it failed within the first 10 minutes of me using it.
I am submitting two stars because I found Stephen very personable, and he did collect and deliver my PC from a fair distance. I would like to have given a more positive review, but for the reasons listed above, I am unable to.
I contacted Stephen at Smart Repair IT to discuss a PC issue where my computer would turn on then keep turning off. Stephen promptly picked up the PC, diagnosed the issue, sent me an estimate to replace the motherboard, carried out the work and even dropped the PC off for me and charged a very fair price. An easy 10 out of 10, such a nice guy to deal with as well, would very happily recommend Smart Repair IT
I contacted Stephen at Smart Repair IT to resolve a minor hardware issue on my home PC. I was delighted to get prompt attention and a fast resolution to the problem from a thoroughly knowledgeable and reasonably priced professional. Also good to know everything was running well after a full system health check during the home visit. Great service all round, and I can sincerely recommend to all.
