I attended Softer Cell to purchase an SD Card for my trip to Europe. I told the owner that the SD Card was going to be used exclusively in Europe three times and he repeatedly said that “it will work anywhere”. I registered the KOODO SD Card that he sold me, at the store. I tried it once I got home, it didn’t work, I returned to the store telling the other male working there that I needed it to work in Europe because I was flying there tomorrow. He got it working on his phone and he told me that it should work on mine. I eventually got it working at home and left the card in my phone. As soon as I arrived in Europe, I tried using my phone and it told me that I didn’t have a valid SD Card. I called KOODO and they informed me that the SD Card that I was sold, only works in Canada. For the duration of my three weeks in Europe, I didn’t have the data on my cell phone that I had paid Softer Cell for. I ended up having to pay my cell phone company their elevated rates when I had to use it abroad. This was tremendously frustrating and inconvenient. I attended Softer Cell immediately upon my return to Saskatoon. I spoke with the owner that I had previously delt with, he lied, and he said that he told me “The card works anywhere in Canada”. I told him that he’s lying, and he eventually refunded my payment, saying that its “coming out of my own pocket”. I wouldn’t trust purchasing any merchandise from this store.

Paid $450 to get my screen fixed. And they want another $340 to fix it again despite no physical damage. At most all I can say it was either faulty or installed incorrectly.

What happened:

Screen starts ghost touching out of no where on the bottom of my phone, screen starts flickering and a day later I go to call a friend and it goes black with yellow.

Apparently the screen underneath the glass broke, despite not dropping it, nor any possible way for it to be broken aside from simple daily usage.

They do not live up to their reviews or warranty and I would take my business else where.

They sold me an iPhone 8 for $350 . Greedy people. The cellphone repair on the next block said they would have sold me a later iPhone for the same price plus a case.

I highly recommend DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP!!!

I even bought a Fido SIM card they sold it to me….. I found out out it is a fake. It doesn’t work I can’t activate it.

I can’t go to the police because they don’t give receipts
