I “met” Noam quite accidentally, when I sent a note to the seller of a pair of speakers on Canuck Audio Mart. His response was the first clue that I very well might be dealing with a retailer who approaches the business differently. Rather than focusing on selling me the speakers about which I inquired, he asked questions about my listening environment and preferences. Having always been “into” audio gear myself, I realized that Noam’s advice was coming from a deep reserve of knowledge and experience – and it was genuine. I have encountered the opposite approach more times than I care to admit. I ended up auditioning a pair of speakers that Noam recommended and purchasing them the same day. The experience was informal and relaxing, and it made me feel confident to know I was dealing with someone who is also a music lover. I continued to communicate with Noam following the sale and have always appreciated his thoughtful replies – I ended up adding some cables later on when I thought that I might not be getting the best out of my new speakers – and now I can honestly say I have the system I have envisioned (for my budget, of course!) for my entire audiophile life. Indeed, dealing with Noam has been a fairly “untypical” experience – but in the best possible way. As you can see from the other reviews here, the appreciation for the man and his approach to this business is widespread – and justifiably so. I give Noam and Stereo Untypical my highest recommendation – there is no need to look elsewhere.

I have made a number of purchases from Noam over the years. Specifically, I have purchased three different pairs of loudspeakers from him, a center channel for my home theater system, as well as a tube amplifier. Each and every one of these transactions were flawless. Thus, it was a no brainer to recommend Noam to my father when he was looking to upgrade his home theater setup. Whether you are looking at making an expensive purchase or a relatively inexpensive purchase, Noam (to borrow from another review on here) treats you as a top tier customer. He really goes out of his way to make sure you are happy and keeps you well informed along the way as to the status of your order. Another thing that I think is worth mentioning is that all of my items had to be shipped to me and all arrived without any issues. I can say that Noam ships very quickly and everything is very well packed. All of this is to say that one should have no hesitation in dealing with Noam. Thank you Noam.

has always treated my as a top tier customer, going out of his way and going that extra mile.
When I moved out west l, I drove and he actually offered to take care of the shipping of my equipment once my drive out was complete. Everything arrived in pallets and professionally packed.
Noam provides great pricing, great new and used gear and the most amazing service to ensure the costumer(in this case, me) is satisfied and happy.
