Highly recommend. My iMac was getting slower and slower. The local Apple shop at first suggested it was “very old” and I’d be better off buying a new one (equivalent price PS2,300).
When I resisted this helpful idea – the “genius” then proposed I “go and see them” at T3C in Ebrington Street, Plymouth.
I did. A tired out hard drive was diagnosed. An SSD would enable it to be faster than it was when new!
I agreed to go ahead. ‘Steve” at T3C did an internal plumbing job in just three days – and the result was just as predicted.
It works brilliantly!!
A slight problem with the Startup process was quickly resolved by Steve over the phone!
Now working like it should.
The cost? PS250.
Some difference to PS2,300, innit?
If you have problems with your Mac computers – you couldn’t do better than visiting this small, family run business.

Harrison and Steve at Tec Team have been upgrading and building PC’s for me for many years now. I have recently had a 4090 / 13900k system build and I have to say it is superb! Not only is the performance staggeringly fast but it looks amazing too! Harrison has done a cracking job with the cable management and the vertical mounting of the GPU looks beautiful, with better temps, much better temps than I expected. The biggest thing for me is the team listen to what you want, and advise but give the customer the freedom to have a PC built as they dreamed it would be. I have called Harrison time and time again asking advice on which components I should get, which case would be best and numerous other questions, all of which are answered politely and with you the customer in mind at all times. Should you be looking to upgrade or have a gaming PC built from scratch I would highly recommend the lads at Tec Team.
Harrison was great when helping to build my custom gaming pc. He was helpful from start to finish. He went through the design with me as many times as I needed and explained every little bit to me and why he was doing it. He went through all the ordering with me and kept me up to date through the whole process. When I had questions after the build was finished he instantly offered to help. I can’t fault the service, would definitely recommend Harrison.
