Took my Xperia xz2 in for screen replacement. Told it could definitely be fixed, quoted PS70 and told it would take until the next day. Called 3 days later after I hadn’t heard back and was told it would be available the next day but would cost PS90 instead.

Collected phone and the blue backing strip to the adhesive hadn’t been removed properly so one corner of the screen was not attached. They tried to pull the backing plastic out then just glued the screen back down with it still in place. The glue lasted less than 12 hours and random parts of the screen responded when you tried to do anything. Took it back and explained they just needed to apply a new adhesive but actually remove the backing strip this time. They tried to sell me a new phone for another PS100 instead.

When I refused and reiterated that I’ve replaced the screen on other Xperias myself and knew what the problem was, they agreed to try again. Got a call a few days later asking for my password so it could be tested. I gave them the *# code used to access the diagnostic testing function instead (had explained it’s a work phone with confidential info on it). Heard no more.

Chased them again after a week and was told it had been “sent for diagnostics” without my agreement. Arranged collection a few days later. Screen is now attached but the top of the screen is unresponsive – which is indicated in the diagnostic function I sent them – and my volume down button no longer works.

Went from a functional phone with a shattered screen to a non functional phone with a shiny new screen in a ‘repair’ that went from 1 day at PS70 to nearly 2 weeks at PS90 witn an attempt to sell me something else for an additional PS100.

Admittedly they did waive labour costs for everything except the first attempt but as I no longer trust their ability and wouldn’t expect them to offer a comparable handset as a free replacement instead – which would be the only other viable alternative – I’m still almost PS100 out of pocket for nothing.

I have been going to this shop since it opened not only for vape juice but for phone repairs they are always so good with prices and always make sure their looking after their customers I wouldn’t go anywhere else now

Amazing shop with really friendly staff. Took a phone in for a screen repair this evening. Stayed open later than 21:00 and it repaired within the hour! Reasonably priced also. 10/10 would definitely recommend 🙂
