I took my windows surface go in recently to be repaired. The tablet wasn’t turning on and was stuck on an error screen reading ‘no bootable device’. They quoted me $360 to fix the issue which was an apparent hardware issue. I was also told there would be a ‘high risk of screen damage during the repair’ which would cost ME $250 to replace. A total of $610.
I asked the store to return my device as I was not willing to spend that much to repair it and the idea of having to pay for a screen they were likely to damage during repair didn’t sit right with me.
I then troubleshooted the error message via the Windows website and some online forums and discovered it could be fixed by downloading an update onto a USB and then putting that into the tablet via a converter. The problem was resolved. Cost $0. I didn’t even lose any data.

This business is either ripping people off or using unskilled technicians. Either way be careful and get a second opinion before paying for devices to be repaired here.
Outstanding service provided to me on Tuesday 13th Feb. We came in to purchase a new screen cover and also a new phone cover and the guy working that day ran through all the different types and benefits along with his recommendations of what he thinks is best suited. He was friendly and allowed us to try many covers on our phone before deciding on one. Although we took up much of his time and knowing he was quite busy we never felt rushed to decide and make our purchase. We come here always for all our phone needs and have recommended them to many of our friends and family also. Don’t go anywhere else- keep up the great service guys!
