Purchased leather case for samsung flip 4 ,$140 Plus ,after a week of being fitted by dealer the leather case was interfering with the fingerprint sensor and volume control (AND ALSO LEAVE STAIN MARKS FROM THE LEATHER ON YOUR PHONE) ,when opening and closing the case it would slide up from the phone interfering with the controls on phone. I returned to Tecworks and the sales took it out back to the workshop and returned to me in about 5 minutes telling me they applied adhesive to the case to stop the case from moving, this was done twice as the first time it failed again, I told them I would try it out for a week and if failed again would like a refund. The item failed again with same issues and the phone was not workable.
I returned it for refund or credit which is not possible, there explanation is has to be forwarded to Samsung for inspection and approval of refund and now all correspondence is with Samsung, totally unfair ,have waited a week now no correspondence and went to the same store to purchase another case (silicone) $59 so I have spent $200 plus on a case .

I have purchased items before from many stores and if an item was faulty was never told to deal with the manufacturer.They are saying they will be out of pocket ,what about the customer ???

BEWARE !!!!! IF FAULTY THEY WILL NOT REFUND .

They broke my screen trying to replace tbe screen protector and said it must have been secretly broken underneath. I called B.S. and the manager apologised and fixed it, but they insisted on wiping all data. Later, my flip phone split across the fold (known manufacturing fault) and they said “sorry we dont cover screen damage under any circumstances”. 4th time in 6 years techworks has unsuccessfully tried to refuse warranty due to some unrelated small issue, i wont by samsung again. Their usual trick (3X in my case) is to look for the tiniest chip on the phone and then take your credit card details and sneakily ask you to sign a form that says you agree to pay if there is any damage (I.e the tiny unrelated chip they found). In my case the repair cost was more than the value of the phone. In each case i escalated tbe complaint to Samsung and got it fixed free after an investigation. But I had to buy a backup phone in the meantime as it takes 2 weeks to escalate! And they wipe all your data and their backup software is almost useless. Hope this helps someone.

I had a bit of a rocky start to my experience with Tecworks, but i feel it is necessary to change my review as I am actually taken back by how helpful everyone has been. In the last 5 months i have visited the Banyo store twice and both times i have had nothing but professional and friendly staff assist me, I am happy to do the 1hr long drive for assessment to see them. I do need to give a special shout out to James Richards, Tecworks’ escalation specialist, who has on multiple occasions gone above and beyond anything i ever expected. Tecworks are lucky to have him, his professionalism and skills in customer service are like none i’ve seen before! Thanks James.
