Would never recommend ever going to this shop. It ended in me calling the police and getting back a damaged laptop. Full story below.

Brought my laptop to the shop after my display went black. Turned out, that it was only a loose cable at the display port, which was quickly fixed. Cost 75EUR, which was steep, but acceptable.
The problems began, when I brought my laptop back home and noticed that the screen frame and the back cover for the display was broken as shown in the picture below. After informing the shop’s owner, he said he would fix it.
When I went to pick up the laptop, I saw that the parts were just glued together as in the picture below. You can actually see the light from the display shining through between the frame and the back cover. Consequently, I said that this is not acceptable and that the parts, which were damaged by the technician, have to be replaced. A heated discussion between me and the shop’s owner ensued.
During the argument, the vendor asked for the receipt in exchange for the laptop. I refused this as the receipt is the only document proving, that the laptop was at the shop in the first place. After refusing, the vendor just took my laptop away from me and said that he would not give it back, unless I handed him the receipt. I said that this amounted to embezzlement and coercion. After saying this, he just stood there doing something else not listening to me. I said I would call the police, which I did.
The police arrived and said that I should make a copy of the receipt and just give it to him, which I did. Then I got my laptop as well as a ban from the shop’s owner to ever enter the store again.
To sum up, I am 75EUR poorer, my laptop is still damaged, and I am banned from entering the store. Any legal action would probably cost hundreds of euros in lawyer fees etc., so it doesn’t make sense for me to go down this road. Sad.

I came in for changing the battery of my watch after I saw the service on the window. I expected it to be done in 1 minute based on experience at other places. But it took 20 minutes until they figured out how to open the watch and changed the battery. Then they couldn’t put back the lid and I had to come once again to pick it up. Later at home I found some small scratches on the back side. I do not recommend to change the watch battery here.

The person is really sympathetic and helped me fix my display and charged me a reasonable amount. He took over the complete process of ordering the new display and then replacing it for me. It is one of the best services in my experience so far. They are open pretty late too, so you don’t have to worry about hurrying up after work. I highly recommend their services!
