Disappointing service from Antechs. I had an issue with an SD card. Antechs were not able to resolve the issue so they sent it off to an outside company for a quote to retrieve the photos. I was quoted PS250 which seemed very expensive. I asked for the SD card to be returned to me, which it was – eventually after lots of chasing and to be told it had been sent to another branch. After over 2 weeks of waiting to finally get my SD card back, I took it to another local computer shop for another quote. The issue was resolved the same day for PS20! It pays to shop around and I know where I will be going next time.
Took the rig in for some internally dusting and a fresh coat of thermal paste and can honestly save the service was delightful. The guys are very knowledgeable and full of the banter. Ken was very transparent with how long the service would take and did the job perfectly. We had a good chat on the day I brought it in and a good chat on the day the service was done. Can’t fault them at all and I highly recommend them for anybody needing to have their laptop/desktop issues resolved. Good show lads!
Took some old dvd ‘family memories’ discs into Antechs after phoning to see if they could be transferred onto a USB for easy viewing. Ken managed to do the job after a problem with the size of film but he managed to find a way around it. Such a useful shop to have in town. I didn’t want to send them away somewhere in case they were lost. Thank you Ken.
