I went in there today on the recommendation of a friend, feeling in despair because a previous fix earlier in the week lasted just half a day and I needed to access computer files urgently. I couldn’t log onto my machine at all because my laptop stopped recognising my password and I feared all my files and data were unrecoverable. Liz put me at my ease, reassuring me they would do their best to retrieve everything and despite being really busy her partner Eddy worked a miracle – fixing everything the same day. I am so grateful that my machine is now up and running again and I was even more pleasantly surprised that the cost was a fraction of the price guesstimated by another local company. Eddy even spent time explaining how to back up my files. Thank you both for a great service.

We recently took a Toshiba laptop to the IT Crowd fearing it was a gonna! Eddie had already said before he turned it on that it sounded like a hardware issue and of course he was correct. He kindly transferred all the data from the laptop on to an external hard drive for us to reload later. We left the laptop with him and agreed to collect it a couple of days later. It is now like brand new. He fitted a new hard drive and reload Windows and I’m sure did a few more things to get it speedy and running smoothly again. I’ve never met anyone who knows so much about computers! He’s great and perfectly supported by his wife who is just as kind and helpful. I have used the IT Crowd since it was established in 2007, and rate the overall service that I have received second to none. I can honestly say that I have never spoken to anyone with more IT knowledge than Ed has. He is always very honest and professional and explains everything that you would need to know in simple but deep detail to ensure that your laptop/computer runs very smoothly at all times.
Also I thought it may be worth mentioning that recently when Ed came over to fix my laptop, he very kindly offered to fit my new kitchen tap, once again he done a fantastic job. I’m so grateful to him and would highly recommend his services to anyone.
