Had the displeasure of attending this shop. If only I knew what lay ahead.
MacBook stopped working!! I removed my hard drive before attending this shop as I can plug in externally to another computer.

Chap in shop accused me of not trusting him and got angry and aggressive!!

Once I explained my reason he charged me PS25 to diagnose the issue.

After one week not the two days quoted diagnoses was made. Became aggressive over the phone again over a miscommunication to which I apologised but he was still throwing his toys out the pram.

I collected my laptop next day nothing said between us.

Enjoy my PS25. Gets some meds. And chill out. Contemplate on how to deal with customers appropriately. Maybe Yoga can help you out.

Missable old !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m very disappointed with my recent experience at The Mac-Shack. I needed to retrieve data from my MacBook and was met with suggestions for time-consuming and costly diagnostics. When I asked for a simple display cable, the gentleman was dismissive and insisted on needing unnecessary services.

I ended up solving the problem myself in under an hour for just PS12 by enabling screen sharing with a cable bought from another store. This contrasts sharply with the uncooperative attitude and attempted upselling I faced at the repair shop. Customers deserve better than to be pushed towards expensive services they don’t need.

They also charge more for a MacBook screen repair than an official Apple Store.

My old Mac was on its knees, I went to Mac Shack and they offered reassuring and sensible advice and talked me through all my available options. As a non IT person who
Loves her Mac, this was like a soothing balm in contrast to experiences I’ve had with Apple Store. I would not hesitate to recommend this company they were brilliant
