Not overly impressed with the service I received from this shop. I arrived at my appointed time to give something in for repair. The door was unlocked and the sign said open, so I walked in and was quickly shunned outside. I understand we are in a pandemic but you could always leave the door locked since there was a doorbell.

Upon the initial unwelcoming greeting I was then asked why the printer in question was in parts and why they weren’t informed. I then explained the situation and how it broke due to a paper jam gone wrong and my initial attempt to rectify it. This was believed to be an attempted repair by someone else. So they couldn’t work on. After fighting my case a little bit, he agreed he would look at it but it would cost more to fix than to get a new one. So I cut my losses and left. I then went to another service shop just a 5 minute walk away who repaired the product for a very reasonable price, much less than purchasing a new printer.

I’m very disappointed with the service I received and will now be looking elsewhere for all future repairs. It seems from reading reviews, I am not the only person experiencing issues with the conduct here. Shame really, I have had previous experiences with other members of staff which were much better.

Won’t Be Going BACK…
After being a loyal customer from when The Refill Centre opened many years ago…

Now almost every cartridge oozes ink from every orifice as soon as the protective shield is unclipped and removed…

This including from the air vent that still has the ‘Please Remove’ piece of tape, is still in place…

Both the last two complete sets
(6 cartridges per set) have had these issues to some degree (7 out of the 12)…

The results are a waste of ink, the printer, worktop contaminated and stained…

So before leaning the hard way use disposable gloves or ones hands have been coated too

I visited the Refill Centre this morning in panic mode with a failed laptop. The boss quickly identified and rectified the fault. He was then good enough to locate and retrieve a long lost password for me. So pleased with the service I decided to buy a tablet from him. He quoted me a reasonable price which was agreeable to me but checking the price he established that the shipping charge had recently been reduced and without hesitation passed this saving onto me. All in all I was very with pleased with the service I received.
