Love love love this establishment!

I was very leery looking up computer repair shops in the South Surrey/White Rock area as many of the places that come up in the Google search have crazy bad things come up about them that differ vastly from the alleged glowing reviews.
I knew immediately after walking in to Thrift Computers that I was in great hands. Russell and his wife took great care of me. The customer service was like one used to receive – genuine, informative, reliable and too notch.
I love small businesses like this! Being treated like a human being and then being able to give the same back to the owners/staff, it’s so great.

Everything that I was told about the assessment, rough cost + likely issue with my laptop was correct. There were no hidden add ons or fees on top of the expectation I was given. My laptop was able to be repaired better than how it was before I had the issue.
I really appreciate Thrift Computers as my tech knowledge is very limited. I completely trusted them with my device and would trust them again should anything come up.

Came to this place by serendipity.
My portable hard drive started acting up and I was in panic mode! I searched online and this place came up with good reviews so I decided to give it a try. The owner identified the problems within minutes and proposed a solution to quickly transfer the data out. The whole process took less than 10min and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome service was fantastic and place is really neat and clean d professional looking. I would highly recommend this place.

They MAY know about computers – but I’d be highly suspicious of that – they, however, appeared to know nothing about cell phones. An iPhone in recovery mode is not a phone that is locked.

How the heck does this place have 5 stars? If I could have given a lower than 1 star review, I would have.

Edit: Issue has zero to do with a forgotten password or anything along those lines. Issue had been diagnosed, and was looking to support local for repair. Associate couldn’t be arsed to listen.
