I’d highly suggest not explaining what may be wrong with your device if you are not completely sure, as it allows working attendants to cut time, saving money diagnosing a malfunction just by your word of mouth of whats malfunctioning then searching for errors in the system, without any further diagnosis. Ever heard of folks arriving at home with none initialized software or components.
I was quoted a thousand dollars to replace motherboard because “alot of people use my build of computer harshly” without a technical diagnoses. Thank you but no thank you sir I rather have a none functioning computer.

(Edit) this is a common practice with any maintenance and repair business such as an Auto repair shop.
Let them do their job by the problem themselves then compare to your knowledge.

yup quoted a thousand dollars for labour, motherbored and of course ram and a new cpu.
When I phoned back and you quoted me a thousand dollars part replacing motherbored, cpu, ram, everything that didn’t need replacing.
I questioned how you diagnosed my computer, over the phone by turning it on and it simply didnt start up as you described. Exactly what I described to you during my inital drop off. You stated your expertees to me & what happens to computers of my type of intense use so I accepted there was nothing constructive to talk about anymore if I wanted my computer fixed conservatively and then picked up my computer.

As stated any customer interested in repairs and preventative maintenance of any sort should allow the “professionals” to do their part in learning and repairing case by case, not by the client or attendant’s assumption. Take care folks

Super professional. Bought an SSD off of him at a great price but unfortunately was unstable and kept corrupting windows/files. After trying on multiple computers and other operating systems it was the SSD. He instantly said he would help out and took the SSD to test. A day after he couldn’t get the issue to occur but regardless gave us a new replacement free of charge. Highly recommend

First time patronizing Toryntek. I needed a laptop battery replaced. I was still able to use my laptop while the new one was ordered. The battery was shipped earlier than promised and reinstalled.
Service was excellent from the first walk-in to the follow-up phone calls. Pricing was fair and reasonable.
I will definitely be back for all my computer needs.
