I’ve had my phone for just under a year now, which I bought at Vodafone Penzance. I was helped by a Gentleman who was not from that stor but there to help. Good service and me transfer my account from ee to Vodafone. I already knew whaphone and package I wanted so easy days work. It must have been 4 months later that I returnedand spoke to a gentleman and 2 ladies about my debit and just help me understand. They explained very quickly and I got confused so I said “A” ok” but my wife wasn’t happy and I pulled her out just because I don’t like negativity and tod her “it is what it is” and left it there. Think it might have been the male dominance with the 2 young women there All good “happy days” Now yesterday I dropped my phone and cracked the screen. I was very upset as I pride myself on looking after things but there is that one day that ain’t on your side. So I thought that I am with Vodafone and this will cost me an arm and a leg to repair so let me take it to Vodafone and get advice , pay for a repair or maybe get repaired. Who knows. Well I didn’t. So I walked into Vodafone Penzance around 15h15and 15h30 with a big smile on my face. I was a dressed by a young lady helping an elderly lady with enquiring if she can help I then stated that I need help with a damaged screen on my phone. Another lady appears and states bluntly “DO YOU HAVE I INSURANCE ? IF NOT WE CAN NOT HELP YOU. VODAFONE DOES NOT REPAIR! SCREENS.” I was a bit put back and asked again stating that I’m not sure if I have insurance but will pay if I don’t. (By this keeping everything professional and not done through a” back yard mechanic”) Once again I was told Vodafone does not repair phones if not insured. That is when I blanked out and lost my temper where I walked straight out the door. I do not remember if I said anything on the way out as it was all a blurr till I was outside the store. My wife ran after me and said that they should check if I was insured but I will never step a foot in that store again I will even walk on the other side of the road to avoid such disrispect. My wife stated that she has ever seen me like that in the last 12 yrs. I did not have an issue with being turned away to repair my screen but there was no interest or time given to me to listen what happened or reasons given to explain why Vodafone does not reapair. Just a plain, Not insured Not interested. There is the door and you know how to use it bye bye now. If Vodafone made EUR2.6 million last year why don’t they repair screens? but the guy down the street helps you with a smile from ear to ear.
Vodafone, this store and staff are keeper’s.
