Letzte Woche funktionierte mein Laptop nicht mehr, also brachte ich ihn zur Analyse zu Weingarten. Anscheinend war was mit dem Netzteil.

Ich informierte sie daruber, dass der Laptop sich nicht einschalten liess. Man sagte mir, dass ich den Laptop ein paar Tage dort lassen musse, bis sie Zeit hatten, ihn zu inspizieren, es sei denn, ich wurde 40 Euro fur einen schnelleren Service bezahlen. Das uberraschte mich, da sie nicht besonders beschaftigt wirkten.

Ich bat sie, mir vorab einen Kostenvoranschlag zu machen, bevor sie irgendetwas unternehmen. Der Mitarbeiter teilte mir mit, dass er mich anrufen wurde.

Heute riefen sie mich an und sagten, ich konne den Laptop abholen. Sie teilten mir mit, dass nichts mit dem Laptop sei und er einwandfrei funktioniere.

Als ich den Laptop abholte, war ich uberrascht uber eine Rechnung in Hohe von 48 Euro. Sie erklarten, dass dies fur das Einschalten des Laptops und das Uberprufen einiger Dinge sei, die ich nie angefordert hatte. Sie hatten mich nie daruber informiert, dass fur die Inspektion Kosten anfallen wurden, sondern nur, dass sie mir einen Kostenvoranschlag machen wurden, falls Arbeiten notwendig waren. Auch hat der Mitarbeiter zugegeben dass er die Kosten nicht erwahnt hat und es ihn leid tan, aber dass ich trotzdem zu zahlen habe.

Sie haben buchstablich nichts gemacht und konnten keine nachvollziehbare Erklarung dafur liefern, wofur sie uber 30 Minuten “Arbeitszeit” benotigt haben. Die haben uberhaupt nicht gefunden warum mein Laptop ausgegangen ist, und hat mich gar nicht deswegen informiert. Jetzt drohen sie mit rechtlichen Schritten, Finger weg.

Dann bekomme ich diese Antwort von ihnen, als ob ich dumm ware? Und sie kommentieren, dass ich uberreagiert hatte?

Warum? Weil ich sie gefragt habe, was sie tatsachlich am Laptop gemacht haben? Sie konnten keine konkrete Antwort geben. Ich fragte sie, wofur ich bezahle, und ihre Antwort war, dass sie meinen Laptop eingeschaltet und nach Dingen gesucht haben, die ich nie verlangt habe.

Sie haben nie das getan, worum ich gebeten habe. Ich habe nach dem Problem gefragt. Schon wieder ist mein Laptop heute Abend ausgegangen genau so wie vorher. Das gleiche Problem besteht weiterhin, und Sie wollen, dass ich fur ein Problem bezahle, das Sie nie gelost haben.

Ja, ich wiederhole es und werde bei dem, was ich gesagt habe, bleiben!

I’d like to share my experience with this service as this might be useful for someone else. I found this service from the internet and based on its feedback, I decided to try their service out hoping that they will be able to solve my problem.

In my laptop, all the files saved in Desktop have been deleted out of the blue, and I could not figure out what is the reason provided that backup from the cloud did not help either. To tackle this problem, I tried out free version of some recovery software on the internet and they did actually backed up my files but nevertheless, they were all appeared as corrupted. So, I went for this service as my last hope and I really regret for that decision.

They said there might be a chance to recover all the files using their premium version software. On the other hand, they also said that if we realize there is no chance to back up at all, we will stop the recovery process and you will pay maximum of around 60EUR, which seemed to me worth a shot. In the end, I paid 132EUR for nothing. No files can be opened (pdf files display they are corrupted or damaged) and this was exactly the same result I also got using free recovery software. So, their service was completely useless considering the fact that I paid this huge amount of money as an international student in Germany.

I demanded at least to partially reimburse my money but they refused (however, I have been said that they will talk with their director and see maybe this could help but again no result). I don’t believe either they spent 1 hour and a half for this job without any result (the service charged 22EUR for 15 mins work).

Please don’t get me wrong, I have nothing personal with their employees. As a customer, I’m not satisfied at all with their service and also very furious as I paid that amount for nothing. If we consider they are PC-service company, customer satisfaction should be their key value instead of just earning money.

Thus, if you are a student and have a tight budget, avoid going there. This is my personal recommendation and as I said, I have nothing personal either with their workers or services done so far.

They were friendly, but the service itself is terrible and expensive. I paid 85 Euro to fix a problem in my laptop, and in the next few days, the problem came back again.
