I dropped my 2018 MacBook Air and it entered a boot loop. It turned out to be physical damage to the motherboard and SSD. Fred and Ary and the team at WinMac recovered all of my data using a combination of software tools and physical access to the SSD and other damaged components. It was a very delicate operation, but I’m pleased to report I’m writing this from my new machine, fully restored from the Time Machine backup they extracted. They will get all of my future business.

I’m a tech guy and they were able to answer my most detailed questions about the procedures they used, but were also able to run with the ball and understand and accomplish my goal without direction.

I have been using WinMac for years and can’t say enough about them. Very friendly people, great quality service, very reasonable prices, especially compared to what I would pay at the Apple Store. I had to get a keyboard replaced once because the keys were worn down. I had a hardware issue they resolved and then a battery replaced. I know some people might think they need to go to the Apple Store because they’re worried about somebody else working on their MacBook, but I’ve saved hundreds of dollars in the process with very personalized service because you’re not surrounded by dozens or hundreds of customers.

From the moment we walked in we could tell they were passionate about the care of your computer. They worked with me and I had to have some extensive work done on my computer. (Clumsy friends spilled drink). The turnaround time was great even after they did additional tests to make sure I was in tip top for the near future as well. All the work they do there also comes with a 6mo warranty. Hopefully I don’t have any more accidents but if so I would go back there, would also give reference to friend if needed.
