I would not recommend doing business with Wintell. I dropped off my MacBook to be diagnosed, they said they don’t do it in house and would have to send it out. I ask specifically that they let me know the price of the repair before doing any repair as I have had unsuccessful GPU bypass using software previously. I wanted a hardware fix. They said they will call in 2 days.

Over 1 week later I had heard nothing so I called and the person answering said “oh, the machine is fixed.” Not sure why I hadn’t received a call letting me know the cost or that it had been fixed. I wasn’t happy and was told to come speak to the owner Lee after 3pm.

Lee was very rude, turning his back to me multiple times when I was trying to explain the situation. His employee was there who I asked specifically and told me they would not do the repair with letting me know the cost. Terrible service.

I asked simply if they could tell me if this was a software fix or hardware fix and they told me “they don’t know.” Completely ridiculous even if they sent it out, I have no idea what they are charging me for. Anyways I left the machine that day because I wasn’t sure if I wanted to pay and was very disappointed. I returned a week later but I decided to test the machine before leaving and within 2 minutes the machine failed.

I will not do business with wintel computers again. An honest review is the only retribution I can get I suppose.

Terrible Service – don’t go there
I took my phone there the repair guy looked at it he said yeah No problem we can fix it but you have to order the part tho
So I said ok I went online and ordered it 10 days later after I received the part which cost me $ 63 dollars
I returned with the part and the same guy took it and told me
I can’t repair it – I said what ? Are you joking ? You told me you could you told me to order this part and I paid $ 63 dollars for it
So I said look just pay me the 63 dollars I paid for the part and I’ll buy a new phone
So he said No

I said You’ve got to be kidding me you advised me to buy this part you said you could do the job and now I’m out $63 dollars

The owner was extremely rude and I would suggest to anyone not to go to this place
Unless you want to get ripped off

They aren’t trustworthy – I found that out the hard way

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
One of the guys (named Lee) lied and sold me a laptop worth throwing into the garbage. The laptop was extremely loose, meaning the screen was always falling back and unable to sit up on its own, unless something was behind it supporting it. The laptop was also EXTREMELY SLOW. It could not handle more than 2 programs being open at once. Went in to ask him to negotiate on how we can go about fixing it yet and he seemed uninterested in doing so. Tried to negotiate for him to either fix it or give me my money back and as soon as money was mentioned he refused service.

DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY FOR FREE
