Brought them an HTC 10 phone w/ a bad battery. I ordered a battery off of Amazon to replace it myself, but after viewing how to do it on YouTube, I had second thoughts. (you have to go in through the front of the phone and there is a step where you must use heat to soften adhesive) Every other cellphone repair place I contacted refused to work on it – fearing they would damage the display… or being unwilling to install customer-provided parts. The technician, Mohammed replaced my battery in ~90 minutes. Total cost was $80. My phone is as good as new now.

A couple of weeks later, I had a Samsung tablet battery replaced. Again… flawless execution… You can’t even see any marks on the edges of the housing where it was pried open.

Made an appointment for screen repair. Phone Geeks approved and confirmed the appointment via email. Arrived today at appointment time to discover the door locked and a sign posted that the store was closing early. Although someone was still inside, they would not come to the door when we tried to open it -multiple times. Turned out the lights when we tried to call and didn’t answer phone. No discussion, no email, no notice that the store was closing and appointment was canceled. Wasted a trip on a packed day. Definitely do NOT recommend.
