Geek Squad in Hickory | Best Phone, Laptop, and Computer Repair Services at Affordable Prices | Quick Fixes

Usually I get great service but today,sadly, they fell very short. I dropped off my laptop for a tune-up and a fan replacement and the gentleman at the counter was great as always. Than a hour later someone from geek squad called very rudly asking for my husband and wouldn’t talk to me until I informed him it was my computer and I will be making the decisions. He rudely informed me I needed a new battery and to drive back to the store to get the info to order one. I told him to give me the info over the phone and I will order one, but he said he doubted I would order the right one but gave me the info and I ordered it without a problem. I don’t know if he was very rude to me because I’m a woman or if he just has poor customer service skills. I tried to contact the store about my experience 6 times but no one would pick up the phone.

We had our wifi and home entertainment system set up them. It has always glitched and I can never get in contact with a person to discuss issue. It is always preselected questions that do not fit my need. I will be looking for another service in the not to distant future!

I raised this review because the people are always so very nice but I’m unimpressed with value of equipment installed and trying to get in contact with someone is a nightmare!

I called this store trying to let them know about a fraudulent transaction on my credit card and tried to cancel the order to be picked up they never answered the phone and the item was picked up. What kind of identification did they have?it wasn’t me now I have to cancel my bank card.Best Buy in Hickory,nc I live in Greensboro nc you need to do better.This was not the geek squad it was the appliance department smart tv
