My brand new fridge was delivered COVERED IN DENTS. They can’t return/exchange it “in the system” because “the order is still in transit” which actually is just an inaccurate way of saying that the computer won’t be updated for another 24 hours by the third party delivery company they use for their deliveries. So it’s my responsibility to call back in 24 hours and do a return/exchange and then they will give me yet another 12-hour window of time when it’s convenient for them to deliver it. If you ask for any kind of accommodating because you already donated 12 hours to the cause, they can’t help you. The delivery window is 7am-7pm until the night before when they will narrow it down to a 4-hour window. How painfully UNHELPFUL especially when Best Buy is the one who delivered a damaged appliance to my house.

Oh and when I called the guy who sold me the fridge to see if he could help me, he was so rude and dismissive, it was shocking to say the least. His name is Juan in the Appliances Department. Buyer beware – he’s nice when he’s selling, but unhelpful and rude when you need anything beyond that. Suffice it to say that Juan could have cared less. When I said it would be nice if he showed some empathy or apologized for the inconvenience he replied “It’s not my fault, so why would I apologize?” WOW. Somebody needs a charm school refresh course STAT!

Buying a brand new fridge should be a fun, exciting experience. Instead, Best Buy and Juan made it miserable. More like WORST BUY.

-1 star for the customers parking in curbside who aren’t curbside customers. Staff can do a store intercom announcement that their vehicle will get towed immediately. Where is security? There are people with physical and/or mental disabilities, are handicap, sick, etc who need to have access to this service. 3 stars for staff being friendly and saying they will speak to a manager. 4-5 stars if they actually enforce violation regularly and consistently. There are protected legal disability rights and those rights need to extend to curbside if they aren’t already. There are only 4 curbside spots. That’s not excessive. People not using the service should not park there. Here are pics of the cars/license plates in violation. No one was in those vehicles for the 10 min I had to go into the store for my curbside order. No one was at any register when I had to go in to pick up my order. People were simply shopping in-store. I’m a therapist with clients who have OCD so severely that they didn’t go into a store for the first two years of the pandemic. It is f-ed up people in violation.

If I could give negative starts I would. My dad bought an Asus Graphic card as my brother’s Christmas Gift. When we opened it, it turned out to be a completely different graphic card and it was used. You can see in the pictures how the Asus graphic card is supposed to look and the one that we actually got. It is even dirty! We went back to the store, of course, to get the actual graphic card that my dad bought and that turned out to be a waste of time. The manager at the Sherman oaks store, Veronica, is a horrible person. She ignored my dad and refuse to offer any solutions. She refuse to even give the phone number to corporate. He payed for a $700+ graphic card and got a cheap, used card. Best Buy refuses to give him a refund, basically stealing his money. Horrible treatment for a loyal customer of 11 years. Veronica sucks.
