The screen repair was excellent as was the professionalism of employee communication.

The reason for my low review is due to this location having the highest prices and fees of any UWS tech repair shop I spoke with. By the time I realized that, I’d already paid the $65 “diagnostic fee” (which in my context was ridiculous, as it was clear all that was needed was a screen repair due to impact, something I communicated, but went along with anyway, due to being told that it counts toward the final repair cost).

Then, their final repair cost was higher than any other location I spoke with by at least 15%. Mind you, that’s not counting their diagnostic fee, which no other shop required.

To their credit, after I communicated that all the other UWS tech repair shops I spoke with had much lower prices, they matched the other shops’ price.

Oh, and they charge a 3% fee on credit cards.

I recommend going to other highly rated tech repair shops in the UWS that don’t trap you with a diagnostic fee and then quote a higher than average repair price on top of that. Even if they have a higher than average rent here, it is not the consumer’s responsibility to help the company with that while not receiving any superior service than other cheaper locations in the same geographic area.

A short story.
I dropped my phone , recently bought ( S23 ULTRA on granite flooring .
Well to be expected…. upsetting. A cracked screen and lower half ( keyboard disappeared. )
few hrs later it came back after pushing side keys.
I went into my T-MOBILE store where I made the purchase.
West 65 St. and Broadway. Always awesome customer service there . One of the rep. looked at my phone after explaining what happened. He recommended Techtronics to me on West 96 and Broadway.
It was a blazing hot Saturday late morning.

I was told that there’s alot of other phones ahead of mine but I insisted I get help asap. David did listen and diagnosed the problem. Explain there will be a 5/6 hrs of repair time. It was about 6/6:30 pm. phone was ready . Bottom line is, David realized how important my phone was to get repair asap. He is professional and easy to work with. I definitely recommend
Techtronics . You will not be disappointed.

These guys fixed my wife’s iPhone 13 Pro Max that was damaged twice – first by our toddler; and then by another shop where we brought the phone to. The other shop actually broke the phone even more. We couldn’t turn it back on and thought that it was beyond repairable! And that all our photos, videos, memories with our son, as well as with my wife’s father who passed away half a year ago were gone. Dave and the team did a fine job on the phone! They brought it back to life, fixed the screen, and restored data! Customer service was excellent also! We highly recommend this place for any phone repairs!
