In my experience, I found myself feeling misled and lied to. It probably varies depending on location. Just don’t go to the UbreakIfix on Phoenix Dr, or Volvo parkway. For some reason, they don’t have very passable communication skills. With the Phoenix Dr location, I gave them my laptop hoping to get a cracked screen replaced quickly. They replaced it fairly quickly, in 8 days. It costed me nearly $600 total, pretty pricey but it was a touchscreen, so whatever. Where the problem lies is when they gave me my laptop back, the black rim that holds the screen in place is now chipped in three different spots, so now my screen is in jeopardy of coming off completely. I can look and the inside of my screen right now! It’s arguably in a worse state than before. When I called them about it, they didn’t bother to talk about over the phone. They just said “Bring it in, we’ll take a look at it” which is fair I suppose. I came in, gave it back to them, they kept it for full day. The guy said he sent me an email the previous day because their phones happen to be down, no he didn’t. When I called them the next day before coming in to get my laptop back, He said, they couldn’t fix the rim because apparently the left side of the head of my laptop is ever-so-slightly dented, making it hard to fix without risk of further damage. Your best bet would be to replace the entire top half of the computer?! You’ve got to be kidding me! I might as well should’ve bought a new laptop rather than deal with their foolishness. He even said, “We still made the approved repairs, but it’s not a permanent fix”. They did not fix or repair it by any stretch of imagination. All they did was push the screen back in! Even while I was having my final conversation with the guy, he was actively trying to hold and press the screen back in place while talking to me. Like he really thinks I’m that stupid. I can’t believe this had to be my first experience with a repair company, and it will probably be my last. Long story short, they lied, they misled me, then tried to act like I was dumb, and most importantly, told me what the true problem was after I had spent all that money. I’m appalled, and never messing around with them ever again.

I had my phone’s screen protector replaced. But after a few days, it started bubbling up bad. Went back to have them fix it and same results the very next day. I’m not one to complain but the way the guy handled csr is appalling. People make mistakes, I get it. But to have an air or arrogance and acting like a big shot and yet couldn’t get a screen protector right- hilarious!
