So grateful to Brian, the owner of this store. My train to NYC was coming in ten minutes when I realized I’d left my (ancient) Macbook Air charger back home… an hour and a half north. I stopped in to DoctorMac to see about purchasing a new charger; Brian said that he didn’t sell any compatible with my computer anymore, but he HAD saved a few that people turn in for exactly this reason. He went to a back room and returned with a perfectly new looking charger, which he insisted on giving me for free. My work trip to the city was saved. It’s little moments of kindness like this that make all the difference!

After overestimating my ability to change the battery in my MacBook Air, I needed to be bailed out – and fast. Not only did Brian make me feel totally welcome and at ease, but he also diagnosed and fixed the problem and had the laptop ready for pickup within two days. On top of that he included the work and a few screws (which I had lost) in the standard bench fee. Better yet he made me feel less incompetent by explaining that the work required was quite minor. Doctor Mac definitely rates five stars.

Brian worked on my imac mid2011 and reconnected the LED display to the logic board. The repair was done in one day and gave me a working computer. I received a detailed email after the work was completed describing the unit’s condition. As a bonus, they replaced the cracked glass screen. This is an incredible resource in Westchester for repair of Apple products. I give them my highest recommendation for this service.
