From the moment I entered the store, the service was subpar. I had to wait 30 minutes just to drop off my phone, which was an unnecessary and frustrating delay. I was promised that the repair would be completed within 4 hours. Despite confirming this guarantee with the staff, I did not receive any communication from your team after the 4-hour mark. When I called to inquire, I was informed that the technician had broken my microphone while replacing the screen. This critical information was not communicated to me until I reached out, resulting in my phone not being ready within 4 hours as promised.
The only compensation offered was a $40 discount on a $300 repair, which barely covered the additional $40 I spent on gas to return to the store the next day. The manager, Jack, and district manager, Max, were unhelpful and indifferent to my situation.
To make matters worse, the next morning after already making an additional trip to this location, I discovered a green/purple vertical line down the middle of the screen. When I called the store, I was told they would replace it, but this required yet another trip, further wasting my time, energy, and gas money. Despite speaking with the district manager again and escalating the issue to corporate, I received no satisfactory resolution. The case manager spoke to the franchise owners and told me they were not willing to help.
This experience has been incredibly disappointing, and I strongly advise others to avoid Ubreakifix, especially this franchise-owned location, they do not care about their customer’s experience.
Dear uBreakiFix,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to request assistance with an unusual but genuine issue I am experiencing with my VCR.
Accidentally, I placed a sandwich in my VCR and attempted to rewind it. As a result, the sandwich is now stuck inside the VCR, and I am unable to remove it. I am concerned that this may have caused damage to the VCR, and I would like to have it checked and repaired if necessary.
I understand this is an unusual problem, but I assure you this is not a prank. I genuinely need help with this situation.
Could you please advise on the next steps or let me know if I can bring the VCR to your shop for a professional inspection and repair?
Thank you for your understanding and assistance.
Best regards,
Fax Machine
