I got the repair done for broken USB 3.0 on my seagate 2TB backup plus external drive’s PCB.
I also got an enclosure purchased from eBay but since the drive was bitlocker encrypted , it was asking to format the drive . The only choice was to repair the USB 3.0 or hire recovery services and pay $1000s of $.
I got a replacement USB 3.0 , 10 pin socket from eBay but it was not the exact fit . This made it more challenging . Nestor came up with a work around and gave me the repaired PCB board in time as promised . I tested and was able to see my files finally . Thanks to Nestor .
