A Windows password requirement appeared several weeks ago which, try as I might, I was unable to remember or reset (drat my decision not to use the Password Hint feature). I’d found a fix on YouTube that involved a boot disc and the scariness of possibly losing some of my files. Instead I decided to take it in to Anacortes Computer Services. I chose them over another company because they were open today and the other place wasn’t. I dropped it off at the home based business late morning after explaining the problem. Before close of business the same day, I received a call that it was ready. Yay! I paid the $70 by check and brought it home. After plugging it all back in…nada! A blank screen. I called, panicked (if you only knew the stuff going on right now, this was one more potential stressor) and Mr Fixit answered, walked me through the “take a breath,” “check the cords,” “be patient while it boots up” procedure. A few minutes later, voila. The password requirement was gone and my computer was back in business. The next time I need a computer repaired, I will take it to Anacortes Computer Services.

Rick is the best! He has worked on my computers for years and I trust him implicitly. Recently, my system required an upgrade which was hard to schedule. Rick was very accommodating to my needs. My computer came back faster than before and ready to go. Rick restored all my prior setting so I could just turn it on and go to work. Another excellent job!

My computer was not working. They ordered a part only to discover that it had more problems. I bought a refurbished one and they transferred all my information. They are very meticulous along with being courteous and concerned.
