Thank you for those who helped me today. I needed to replace the battery in my phone, and that was the reason why I went to this Apple Store. As soon as I walked in to the store, a young female staff helped me to check-in. I hope I write her name correctly, and I think her name was Katelin (?? could be Katelyn..??). She was very helpful and patient. As a part of check-in process, I had to type my icloud email address and password, but I just didn’t remember my pw off hand. She helped me find the pw. During the check-in process, when I needed to type in any sensitive information, she was thoughtful to look away from my device. I appreciated her sensitivity, care and respect. She told me to be seated at 1 of the wooden stools, and very short while later, another staff named Jason (I hope I remember his name correctly…) helped me to start the process of replacing the battery. He was also very helpful and friendly, and made the whole process really easy and pleasant. The wait time for the battery replacement was less than 1 hour, just enough time for me to browse other shops within the mall, had some coffee, and I was able to pick up the phone about an hour in the same afternoon. The cost of service was a little shy of $77 ($69 + tax). Considering how short of the wait time it was, for me, this was a very easy and pleasant experience. There were 2 other staff I spoke with to ask some questions, and they, too were helpful. Thank you so much everyone… 🙂

I will start by saying the wait time was terrible, however, it’s partially on me because I could’ve scheduled it via the app… now I know.

I will without a doubt say the customer service by Michael was the greatest experience I’ve ever had at any Apple Store. The man had a great attitude the whole time regardless if we needed to wait for diagnostics and updates. He took the time to make me feel hurt and acknowledged, for someone who is technologically challenged like myself he didn’t make me feel dumb.
Without a doubt, if the opportunity arises, I will look for him for help!

I just left the store and took the time to write this review because he did an amazing job .

2nd time I have gone to the Alderwood Apple store and been ignore. I would understand if they were busy but both time over 10 employees standing and talking with each other ignoring customers. After 15 minutes i just left. Apple is a premium priced product worth the money but their customer service at the store almost cost them a $2500 tablet sale the first time (bought it on line) and now just cost them a $350 keyboard sale. I will take a chance and buy an off name brand for 1/2 the price before setting foot back in the Alderwood store.
