MADE FUN OF FOR BEING GAY!
I took my staff out for our annual Christmas party and my team wanted to stop into the Apple Store to check out some things they were interested in. I was the last person to walk into the store. I had 6 team members walking in before me. I instantly saw from outside walking into the door that the front door greeter along with two other employees laughing and staring at my employee for the way he was dressed. My employee is in his 20’s, successful stylist and dresses professional. I own a hair salon and would NEVER EVER treat any customer in my business the way these employees did. It couldn’t be more obvious that my other staff member noticed it as we were mingling in the store for another 10 min. This went on the ENTIRE visit I was in there. My staff held me back from saying anything because I most likely would have been arrested for standing up for my employee. I had another employee in the back buying products! This is the customer service you’ve trained your staff?! Whether you are gay or straight no one should ever experience what my team and I just did. This occurred on 12/30/23@7 pm. I have pictures of the two employees as well that did this to my employee. You guys SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!!!! I WILL NEVER EVER go to this location ever and I will share this experience to my clientele that I work on at my salon!

What a terrible experience! I decided to switch to a Mac from my PC. The salesman assured me that making the switch would be super easy and if I had any problem to just come back to the store and they’d love to help. He said they would even be happy to transfer all the data there for no charge but he was confident I’d be able to do it. I went home and after a lot of hair pulling managed to transfer the data. However when I went to the App Store the entire thing froze up. I went back to the store the next day. The fellow that met me took a look at the computer and told me there were issues that needed a technician but nobody was available to help me. So I went home and made an appointment for the next day. Went back and after waiting a half hour was told they only have one technician who can work on a Mac and he was at dinner. He finally showed up after I sat there an hour and it was the same person who the day before told me he didn’t have the expertise to work on it! Now he said he might be able to transfer my data but that there are always serious problems going from a PC to a Mac! He said I could leave both my PC and the new Mac there for 3-5 days and he’d see what he could do. I got my money back. In short the people in this store don’t have a clue. I’ll be looking for a new PC.

So I went to the Apple store on Tuesday because my phone stopped working while I was at school, and this store is the closest to UConn. I was really stressed because I rely on my phone for both work and school. An amazing guy named RJ helped me with everything I needed. He was so patient, even though my old phone kept glitching and turning on and off while he was trying to inspect it. I wanted to trade in the phone for a new one if possible, and I was losing patience because my old phone was acting up. But RJ kept trying and remained calm.

Let me tell you, I was there for like 2-3 hours, and he was SO patient and understanding the whole time. I’m so glad I went to this store because, as a college student, I lowkey didn’t know what I was doing. Huge shoutout to RJ for making the trade successful and being so patient and understanding!
