I am disappointed in the management of the Genius Bar at this location and felt very disrespected today. I checked in for my appointment with a staff member and left to wait for 50 minutes. At minute 37, I approached a Genius Bar staff member who said I would be seen in 3 minutes. I still hadn’t been helped 13 minutes later and saw customers who had just arrived be seen, so I approached the staff member (younger Asian man) doing the check-in. He apologized and highlighted me in their system. The technician (older White man with a long beard) was professional once I was finally helped. I asked to speak with the manager. The manager (younger Latina) explained to me that I was marked late (more than 10 minutes), which I wasn’t and that someone did check in with me (I had to approach staff because no one came to me). I appreciated her calm tone, but I wish she was more empathetic and offered something to make amends for the mistakes that staff made and the poor communication that left me in tears. I’d been to this location once a couple of years ago and the visit went smoothly, so I was surprised that something like this would happen at an Apple store that seemed to have an abundance of staff members. The greeter (young Black man) was the only staff member that made me feel welcome.

Horrible experience: rude and arrogant staff, long wait.

I wanted to buy something there and was told to stay in line for 20 minutes, ended up waiting 40, watching staff that was just hanging around, chatting and completely ignoring customers. “Just stay there at the table so I’m able to see you”, like what kind of answer is that when someone is asking if they’re still in line?

Really, the person who had their last day in the store and walked to the door deserved more attention than all the customers combined.

It was the last drop we just gave up and left without buying anything.

It’s been a while since I visited an Apple store in person, so maybe Apple policies and culture have changed, but this team must be closely supervised, and the managers responsible for such horrible service should be fired the same day.

I have been having issues with a new apple watch that I purchased. Allan was able to address my issues that customer service at apple phone service and T mobile could not fix. He was patient, kind, and speedy. He saw that the technician that I made an appointment with was running behind so he stepped in and addressed my issue after waiting for an hour. This had been an issue I had tried to address for over two weeks and he fixed it in a matter of 10 min. Ask for Allan he is pleasant and will ensure you have the answers to your tech issues before you leave the store. Great disposition and great customer service.
