I have visited many stores and it is difficult to find someone who wants to help you 100%, but a few days ago I had the best experience with a young man who, by the way, was the third person I asked. The first one sent me to an area where the second one was not. He told me to ask for it at the cash registers and this young man very kindly asked what they were looking for, can I help you with something and I said if I’m looking for a keyboard for a Mac and he said wait for me here, not only did he ask me what I was looking for, if not, it was also He charged me for the merchandise and I let him know that in a long time of visiting Best Buy it was the first time that I felt very happy and grateful for the experience I had had and that people like him are what many stores that employ people need. Just out of necessity and that they shouldn’t be there, I congratulated him for being the way he is and that he wouldn’t change because it made the world a better place. In fact, I asked him his name so that when he did this I could mention it. His name is Manny and I suggested that they should promote him to boss. so you can show others what customer service should be like.
This review is about very bad customer service at this Best Buy store in Mountain View. The cashier’s name is Marcus. He’s very rude, unprofessional and argumentative. I told him many times that I was not interested in any marketing offers and just wanted to pay quickly and leave the store. However, he kept on interrupting me and telling me about the marketing offers. I told him that I was going to report him to the store manager because of his rude behavior. He told me that he didn’t care and he would not give me the store manager’s name. He also told me very rudely to move away and started talking to other people at the store. I found the customer service phone number and email posted on the front door at this store. However, when I called the phone number, nobody at Best Buy answered my phone call or even replied to my email regarding this issue. Will never give Best Buy my business again.
Very frustrating place to shop. I came to buy a $600+ camera. Waited 10 min and I could not find anyone in the camera section. Found a guy sitting in the TV section behind a desk. He found there’s only a “open box” one in stock. I waited another 15 min for him to get it. He never came back and I found him just hanging out talking to other employees in the PC section. This guy looked to be in his 20s, baggy pants falling off, underwear exposed, attitude of he could care less. Final nail in the coffin is I goto checkout and find out the “open box” item is only $20 off the $600+ price tag. No reason to buy an open box item or come to the store again for that matter. Just buy it off Amazon.
