Just left Best Buy in Peoria, IL.
Made an online purchase. Went to the online purchases and in store pick counter of which there was no one there to assist me. Moved over a bit, where there were 2 males behind the counter. The older one was working with a customer at customer service. The other was sitting at a computer , playing a video game. The one that was actually working, stated someone will be right with you. Waited. The video gamer still sitting , never once making an attempt to help me. The one working customer service said a second time after standing there, someone will be right with you. It was asked why can’t this guy help me? All I’m doing is picking up an online order. That video gamer got up, never speaking, got my order and had the audacity to tell me I might want to get a cart because it’s kind of heavy. Seriously? You had no concern of my standing there forever, full well knowing I was there but suddenly concerned I might need a cart. This was the epitome of poor customer I have probably ever received. Since when does someone get paid to play a video game while ignoring a paying customer!!?? Is this how you represent Best Buy?? You should be terminated! Poor poor poor!!!!! What a disgrace!!

You can no longer call this store directly, you instead get reroute to a call center agency. Each Call Center Representative kept rerouting me to a different person. I called 4 times and spoke to 7 different people who all said something different. They ruined our surprise gift for Mother’s Day by the way. It’s going to be a while before I shop at Best Buy again with that type of service.
I called to find if they had a replacement battery in stock. I got an overseas Call Center and was told that this Best Buy store no longer answers their phone. And to make matters worse, they can’t look at the in-store inventory so after an hours drive for me, they may or may not have the replacement battery I need for my phone in stock. Unfreaking believable!
