Up until recently, my family and I have had good interactions with employees inside the store and the guys at the geek squad. But, the past few weeks have been a flip. To finish off our week on friday, I purchased a new laptop and wanted to drop it off with them to install stuff. I was told that I had to make an appointment. I said I just wanted to drop it off. And I could pick it up anytime the following week. Again, I was refused. The Soonest appointment was the following Monday. I arrived 10 minutes early. Was told to have a seat. Another person walked up to the counter 10 minutes later and was immediately taken back and helped. We are now 15 minutes past our appointment time… and still waiting… why did I make an appointment?!?

Best buy of all places I want to find an employee that knows about electronics. well I found out today that unfortunately for me that- I drove 20 minutes to Best buy- to buy a simple charger cable for Alexa. The employee recommended a USB cable. I did ask myself since when do USB cables are for video and audio at the same time I question myself I am totally outdate with technology.
But I should know better next time not to interrupt an employee that is looking at his phone while working.

After five service calls the problem still exists. They had me send my computer into the store and when it came back it was all screwed up in half of my files were empty. They had someone come out and restore the files from my backup. The computer still had the original problem and they wanted another payment to have someone come out even though I was told on the 1st call that there was a 90-day warranty on their work. I will never buy anything from Best buy again.
