I’ll try to make this brief but here’s my experience with this store. Went to Best Buy in Oct because my fridge went out. Ended up purchasing a compete kitchen set then went back the next couple of days after further researching the Whirlpool system and decided to exchange those for LG appliances instead. I was excited but there was a delay in delivery for parts of my order. No big deal. Days later, the set I bought went further on sale due to Black Friday and there was a manufacturer discount for my items as well. Of course, as a consumer I wanted to save wherever I could especially in this current inflated economy. Anyway, after multiple trips to the store, delays in shipping and installation of my items; the store leader Nick gave me his word that I would be given all discounts if I waited until all of my items were delivered and installed and he kept his word, and for this reason I am grateful and giving this store 5 stars! They really care about customer satisfaction here. I’ll be back when I upgrade my washer and dryer.
Worse experience ever. 555 W Roosevelt Rd. Walked in, greeted by security only. Walked to appliances asked to speak to someone on several occasions. No one ever came. Went over to approach a male, Hispanic about 5’8 with glasses and said hi do you work here in this department, he responded yes, I said where are your electric stoves, he said everything you see will more likely come in electric you can search online. I said what about white appliances he said the appliances come in white as well you can find them online. He said I can go to the computer and put in Best Buy and search there and looked them up myself. I politely waked away. I thank God for Joliet, and North Riverside locations. I shop and hold a credit card with Best Buy. This was by far the worse experience. This happened Saturday August 31, 2024 @ approximately 230pm. Again, walked out, security said have a great day. The only interaction I had throughout the entire experience. Never will I return to that location again
It’s really tough to see how this location has gone down. You can scroll down a bit and see a review about the staff working hard and some of the clean respectable pictures of the store and the standard it was held to. I used to be a rep at this store and took great pride in the atmosphere and quality of service while having fun, I had associates outright avoid me / try to look busy on this visit. No one had home theater knowledge which made me truly sad. Henry the sales manager actively avoided me and it seemed very few employees wanted to be there at all. The disarray and lack of pride in the workplace shows in the culture management has created. Lack of cleanliness, laser lining, no posted hours on doors outside, overall things look uncared for and given up on. Navid and Angel are still bright spots for this store. This saddened me beyond belief.
