I would have given them 1.5 stars only because they did it correctly, meaning that the phone doesn’t present the notification that the screen has been improperly replaced and that the guy offered to stay open late (even though I wish that he hadn’t). Now, I gave them the rating I did because when “fixing” my phone they damaged my phones frame that surrounds the screen (widening the gap between the frame &. Screen, denting, scuffing and scratching), they falsely advertise the 20 minute fix, the lower left hand corner is loose popping up, and he said “well that’s now your frame, you wanted your screen fixed and I had to do that to your frame to get your screen off” to justify the damages he caused to my phone. Which really made me angry. I feel like, I could have had a better experience, he had me come in even though it was about the time that they were going to close because he wanted to be kind, but in doing so I think he rushed through the process, sacrificing the quality of the work. Which was the cause of the damage, and giving me a finished product that was less than ideal. This place is cheaper than others I inadvertently priced out but you get what you pay for. I hope the owner or manager sees this. I want my money back and I want my phone restored/replaced.

Update 02/09/23: the screens is also protruding upwards 3 mm on the right side of the phone.

I was able to do a walk-in and Basel was very friendly, helpful, and upfront about the costs involved of fixing my phone stuck on a restart loop. It only took about 10 minutes to fix an issue I thought would be way more complicated and expensive! You are able to call and inquire about the cost for your specific problem beforehand as well. I will be returning next time I need a repair!

This is the first class operation. I came in with a broken screen, and the man working at the desk was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He explained why my screen repair was so expensive. When I decided to postpone for now, he very kindly placed clear tape over my phone so I wouldn’t get the glass on my hands. Will definitely be going here for future repairs.
