Very happy with the service I received here! The owner is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and went out of his way to treat us well. Our Hisense TV stopped powering on so I took it in for a repair. After paying the nonrefundable $40 fee for the estimate, the owner gave me a reasonable quote for the repair and ordered the parts. When it was done it powered on properly, but showed the picture tube was damaged, which I believe was likely caused by the way I transported it. He not only didn’t charge me for the repair, but let me apply the nonrefundable cost of the estimate toward the purchase of one of the used TVs for sale in his shop. For roughly the same price as I was going to pay for the repair, we ended up with a slightly better TV with a new backlight he installed himself. I also learned from the owner that Hisense TVs tend to be made with poor parts and are known to break after a few years of use, which I’ve also confirmed on internet forums. When I was looking at the options for a replacement TV he let me know which ones I could expect to last longer (TCL) and which were most reliable and would last the longest (Samsung). The used TV I purchased is also under warranty for a few months if it has any problems. I’ll definitely be coming back here if I need any repairs or another TV in the future. He sells high quality televisions for much less than you’ll buy new and can tell you not only how the picture quality compares, but how long they’ll last–something you don’t learn at Best Buy. I haven’t purchased anything from them but the store is cluttered. The person I talked with had no idea about TV or computer technology. They just knew how to repair mechanical issues. The prices for used tvs that they repaired was slightly more than new in store. They suggested 4 year old bottom line TV’s telling me they were brand new and top of the line. I wouldn’t suggest them for purchase. On the other hand they seemed to know about repairs.
