First off, the staff appears knowledgeable and somewhat professional. They fixed my laptop on a second attempt.

I took my laptop in for a boot problem (Windows 11 with which you expect problems). It had several partitions, a mechanical hard drive, and an SSD.

The main problem I saw with this vendor was a lack of transparency and proper communication. They also didn’t seem to have concern for customer’s time. I had to almost always call the vendor and rarely received a call back during this fixing saga that went on for more than a week. They charged me $350 (a Samsung internal SSD, labor, Windows 11 Home for $120!)

The first time they “fixed” the laptop didn’t fix it at all! One of my non-Windows partitions was bust (they should have been more careful; their explanation was not satisfactory). But I bit the bullet and brought it home.

Within 10 minutes, the laptop simply shut down. It wouldn’t boot again!

I took the laptop back to them. Fortunately, they gave me a 30-day warranty.

On the second attempt, the laptop seems fixed. It has been okay for the last 3-4 days, but I am still wary. The technician then said that she fixed an apparent problem with the computer’s RAM. But it’s unclear what the problem is. There’s no proper communication.

I can’t give them more than 3 stars.

brought my iPhone in for a battery repair, which the price was competitive and fair. during the repair process the screen got broken which hey I understand mistakes happen, they ordered a replacement, brought it back the repairs were done. Once i got my phone back it wasn’t quiet working right making a weird clicking noise every once in a while I thought no big deal so I brought it back this past weekend and they mentioned the charging port wasn’t working correctly. They mentioned bring it back next Saturday and they could diagnose and fix it, I left not confidence, went to another store, and boy am I glad I did. They showed me this place left the back plastic protective cover on causing the vibrating i hear, they showed me my phone is blue and instead of the blue screws they used gold and a small little piece to protect the camera from drop was missing, they told me this place must have been rushing when putting my phone back together. Luckily this other place fixed my phone correctly and now it works.

The girl is rude. They don’t hold on to their word. They are not professional. When I went with two MacBooks one bricked (just software issues) and one with just a faulty screen to swap the screens so that I can use the unbricked one, they said they’d charge me for two screen change. Which was cheaper than getting a new screen so I agreed. After doing the labor the screens turned out to be incompatible. They should have checked all this before proceeding with this swap. They had serial numbers and model numbers to check it without even opening them up. Completely incompetent. In the end I ended up buying a new refurbished screen which works but now the bricked laptop has a faulty screen which I won’t be able to use even if I unbrick it. To change it back they are asking for another screen change labor.

TLDR: went with one broken laptop and one with no hardware issues. Came back $650 less with the broken one now working but the other one that had no hardware issues now has with a faulty screen.
