My Mac had a small crack on the bottom of my screen, so I bought a replacement retina screen and took my MacBook and the retina screen into this place to get fixed. I was told by Alex the tech, that this won’t be an issue whatsoever and took my money for the repairs. I got a call a day later saying that they cracked the screen that I gave them and they needed to order a new screen. Once they got the new screen in they told me they would put it in and give me a call once completed. I got another call and they broke the screen AGAIN! They told me that they can’t repair the screen and they will order a replacement screen and give me my money back. I was not happy that I invested all of that time (3 weeks) and I still have not gotten anything accomplished, so I went to pick up my computer and the screen had no display anymore and a crack on the top of it. I didn’t think anything of it and took it to an actual Apple repair shop in Ann Arbor and they told me that my back light has been cracked. I called Brian the manager and he dusted me off saying that there was no way this could happen at his shop and it must have been the fault of the new people putting my screen in. These guys freaking suck! I can accept the delay with my fix and even accept only giving me my money back and nothing else, but to deny they did any extra damage when clearly the tech had no freaking clue what was going on is asinine! I’m still not done dealing with this, it has been about a month and a half now and my screen still isn’t fixed. Shop some where else, if you need a repair good lord find some where else!

I only go to Computer Discount to get my computers serviced. As a business owner it pays to have a reliable company available to get my important devices serviced in a jam. Ive been going to Computer Discount for the last 10 years. They always have the best staff. I just feel more comfortable taking my devices there. The reason I am posting this today is because I recently got a great deal on a new desktop and they threw in a few things they didnt need to. Customer appreciation. Customer Satisfied!

I took a gaming computer in to see what part needed replaced. they charged me $80 just to take a look at it. I got a call 4 days later. they told me it was either the cpu or the mother board. they weren’t sure which because they didn’t have the proper parts to test it. said they found a motherboard which would be $250 so they could test it….. so they weren’t able to figure out what was wrong until I paid $250 to pay for a part which might not have been the problem. the. proceeded to tell me it would be another 150 to get windows back on the computer. they are purely con artists.
