If you don’t want your expensive computer to be broken beyond repair, don’t take it to this business!

I took my son’s expensive gaming laptop to see if the screen could be repaired. The screen was cracked but the laptop was otherwise perfectly functional, as verified by the fact that it ran normally when hooked up to an external monitor. After this business had worked on the computer for a few days, they called to say that actually the computer had “something wrong inside” and was un-repairable and now no longer functional. They tried to claim that it was a refurbished computer to begin with that had a preexisting problem. However, I had to special order this specific laptop for my son and I distinctly recall picking it up at the store still sealed in the original brand new factory box. When I asked to speak with a manager or someone in charge, I was directed to a second employee who admitted that when they opened up the laptop they broke and spilled the coolant system over the internal components. Essentially, they broke my laptop.

No one from this business has been willing to speak with me about this grievous error or to make any effort to make this right for me. Not even a simple apology or admission of wrong-doing on their part. When I asked to speak with the owner of the business, I was told that he was “out of the country indefinitely.” If you value your computer equipment, or just value businesses that are honest with their customers, look elsewhere.

I brought in an expensive pile of parts and asked them to assemble it, install windows, and just generally get it ready to be used.

I brought it in pretty late in the day, and got it back the next day, completely finished.

It was done shortly before they closed, and when I got there, I find out there was a miscommunication (totally my fault), and he fixed it right there, no problems. (HDD was installed in the hot-swap bay in the front, and not on the inside. I misunderstood his question about it the day prior *facepalm*)

The few times I called about updates, they were very kind and professional, even though I was obviously very impatient because I was so excited!

He knew I was a gamer, and I told him I have, let’s say, slightly above average computer knowledge, not enough to trust myself with the parts I had, but I can get around. I feel like my PC was made for me. I don’t really know how to explain it… but things were just setup in a way that was perfect in every way. He even installed Steam and a few other clients for me!

I wish I knew the guys name so I could give him credit, but either way, all around great service! I have and will continue to recommend this place to my friends.

Staff knows what they’re talking about and very friendly to customers. Not a bad selection at all considering the size of it but that’s about all I can say that is good about this place. The real reason I rate so low is due to the incredible over pricing on everything from parts to even the mouse pads. I went in today looking for a headset as a lot of places local were sold out of a pair I was wanting. I found them here for 80 dollars, 30 more than best buy and amazon and no budging to match them. I want to give the local guys more business but I cannot justify spending that much more on anything. I’m sorry but until this policy changes I can’t see myself coming back.
