I brought my custom build gaming pc there due to an issue with it overheating and shutting down. I explained the issue to the owner as best as I possibly could and he told me his tech would look at it the following day. So I went into my car and was getting ready to leave when he comes back out and asks if I had the cables for the display with me. I said no, but any hdmi or display port cable would work with it. He got rather confused when I mentioned display port, because he then asked if it was a blue connection or white, implying vga/dvi. I reiterated that it takes either display port or hdmi. At that point he got frustrated and asked if I could just bring the wire over the following day. This was a huge red flag that I decided to ignore as I was in a hurry to be somewhere else.

The following day he called me and asked for my password again, even though I provided it written on a sheet of paper when I dropped it off. This is red flag number 2. He said his tech was just getting ready to look at it. So I give him the password and he says thanks and that he will get back to me when the repair is completed. 15 minutes later he calls and says it’s ready to be picked up. This was red flag number 3. There’s no way they could have diagnosed and repaired the issue in 15 minutes. So I go to pick it up and ask what they did. He says his tech cleaned out the vents and it booted up just fine (which it would if the cpu is cool). So I brought it home, hooked it up and ran a program to test it. Within 19 minutes it overheated and shutdown.

Brought it to a different repair shop and explained the situation. They reviewed with me in detail the diagnostics they planned to run. They told me the few different issues it could be, and after a few days of work were able to diagnose the cpu liquid cooler pump as being faulty.

The “Computer Repair Doctor” is anything but that. He should not be trusted and it’s a shame he’s still out there taking money from people none the wiser. Thankfully I’ve got a background in computers and was able to notice these red flags. Wish I hadn’t been in a rush and brought it to someone clearly knowledgeable on computers instead of Jay Aubrey Jackson.

Edit: As seen below the owner is rude and incompetent. He even blocked my phone number after I left a couple messages trying to reach out. I will be charging back my credit card. Don’t come here, he legitimately takes advantage of people who aren’t technically savvy.

Edit 2: Ended up doing a charge back on my credit card as Jay refused to honor his money back guarantee as he ignored my attempts to call (whether on purpose or not, I do not know). Thankfully since I paid using a credit card, my bank reviewed my evidence and sided with me. Think twice before coming here.

Bought my 15 year old a computer laptop for about $120 out the door -had it about 18 months with no issues whatsoever. This guy is sometimes hard to catch but it was worth every time I could t catch him. For instance I went to Mac store to get mines fixed and they quoted me at $300+! Jay fixed that same computer for $49 bucks and I bought the other one since I set aside $200 just to fix mine. He even threw in better spyware a great pop up blocker and installed it onto both computers so I use mine for work and my daughter has hers for school, leisure, etc… she will take that to college with her next year! This guy is almost a genius when it comes to computers-he should work for cia or something cus he told me what to watch for and what to avoid and gave me knowledge at what he did while explaining the issue so I very much appreciate him. He wouldn’t even take a tip he just wanted us to be happy.

I really enjoyed working with Jay the “Virus God” and all the folks here at the mobile Computer repair! The service was friendly, fast, and efficient. I have taken many computers here now and they have done a great job! Most recently, I needed a clean wipe and fresh install of windows, and another computer had some hard drive and motherboard problems. They fixed all those problems and now my computers are running great. I will warn you that their office looks disorganized and could benefit from a deep clean but aside from that I would personally recommend them for computer repairs.
