After seeing all of the great reviews of this place, I had high standards. I just went there to get the battery of my 2014 Macbook Pro replaced. I had the battery, just wanted to get it done professionally. I also wrote on the note that I’d like the computer to be cleaned as well. I dropped the computer off at 8, they said it would be done 7 hours later (3PM) after I called at 2 to check in. It cost $120, and the computer didn’t get cleaned. I opened up the bottom cover to look under the hood and it still looked quite dusty. I guess I should have been more clear about wanting it cleaned, and I should have asked before I dropped it off to see how much it would cost. I thought it would be more around $60, since that’s what other people quoted me.

Edit: About 10 minutes after I posted this review, Jesse called me and apologized for not reading my note; he had just done what I said on the phone. He said he will drive out to my house tomorrow and pick up the computer to clean it, as well as refund me $40 for my trouble. He works hard to maintain his reputation! I will edit again to 5 stars once he follows through, which I’m sure he will.

Edit #2: Jesse went above and beyond! He came to my house this morning to pick up my computer, and gave it back this afternoon all cleaned up along with a $40 refund! I doubt any other business would go this far out of their way to earn a 5 star review!

ComputerPro did an amazing job of rescuing my “digital life” when my computer literally fried itself. They were able to rescue my data and move it into a new and faster system.

After migrating my personal files, they added my 2TB original drive into the system as a secondary drive. I just had to reload some applications that I need and set my system up so that it could use my printer and connect to my router. In short, they turned a near disaster into a scary week with a happy ending. Phew!

A while later, they replaced the keyboard on my laptop. After an unfortunate “spill”, some letters were unresponsive. The replacement works great and I appreciate the time and care taken to do the work and make sure all was well.

This is the second time I have used ComputerPro for IT advice and support and again, I was not disappointed. Jesse is credible, responsive, honest and professional and is one of the finest support persons I have ever dealt with. As an example, when the computer he ordered for me arrived out of warranty due to HP policies, Jesse, without prompting from me, offered to apply to HP for a waiver and reinstatement of the warranty which was granted for an additional year! For that reason and many others I will be coming back to ComputerPro and have already recommended them to others who may be in need of personal IT support.
