I was looking for a place to have my MacBook fixed since MacOS was uninstalled when trying to do a factory reset on my computer. I was told it would not take more than two days. I dropped my computer off on Monday August 26th. I was in Green Bay for some work related meets and called to see if the computer was ready to be picked up. I was told it would be done by end of day. My meeting only last till about 2 pm so I waited until 6pm to head home. Hoping I would get a call. I live almost an hour away from Green Bay…. It is now September 2nd and while it is a holiday I expected to get a call back last week and never did. I usually base where I go to get things done on the reviews and for the most part they were all really good. The expectation set by the employee was two day and after the two days I was told end of day from when I called. I think overall they have some very friendly individuals who I’m sure are amazing at their respective jobs. However, I feel like there should be a clear expectation when it comes to setting time frames for when something will be completed. If my computer was not going to be ready by end of day I would have been more ok with them telling me it would be a week rather than saying it would be done at end of day and have me sit around town waiting for them to call me. I gave a three star because while I have not received my laptop back yet I hope with the extended time they took (that was not communicated) that a resolution would have been found to fix my issue.fingers crossed

Update: it’s is now Tuesday and turns out the computer I brought in was ready last week Thursday and I never got a call or anything but I had to call not once but twice to get an update. I probably will not use this place again. If the computer wasn’t going to be done by end of day I would have expected to get a call back letting me know it would not be ready.

I am SO happy with Cyber Works! I brought my laptop in on the 15th to get the fans replaced because the thing rattled like an old truck idling. I was going to be gone for 2 weeks, so I told them that they could take their time fixing it.

When I came home on the 28th, I picked up my laptop. And WOW, what a difference! Not only does it not rattle like an old truck anymore, it doesn’t even get hot like it used to. The guy said they also replaced the heat sink, apparently, and “Fixed a few fried bits.”

The “Fried bits” must’ve been my laptop’s wifi because my laptop hasn’t had working wifi for a LONG time. And they FIXED it. And the price was more than reasonable! I am so very, very happy with what they did. The machine’s quiet now, it doesn’t heat up, and the internal wifi works again.

Stellar service, pricing and knowledge. My son got a new PC for Christmas that was damaged. Not only did Cyber Works diaginos the problem, but they repaired it, replaced the part and installed it the SAME day!
