I built a computer and need David to install windows to it.
The price is pretty high for a windows install work, but that’s not why i’m giving him 1 star.
When working on the machine, he said the computer is slow (knowing that the machine use the best component in the market currently, so there are no way it can be that slow), he told it’s because of the SSD (The SSD is top of the line, so no way).
I bring the computer home and figure out that the version of Windows is 3 years old, that’s why it doesn’t work on new hardware. I have to do a clean install again myself to make it work smoothly.
My experience shows two things:
– The man lack of troubleshooting knowledge/skill in general
– He doesn’t have passion doing this, no one with passion gonna use a 3 years old windows installer on a new machine.

I would never rely on someone with no passion to do the work.

UPDATE: The machine now lost it’s windows license, David told me that the license is now associated with the mother board so it will automatically update if windows update.
I don’t even want to deal with this guy again, just bought a new windows key to activate the OS myself.
Never come back to this place.

I am always nervous that these computer places are going to try to scam you, tell you that its a serious, unfixable issue and then try to buy your computer for cheap kind of thing. I can say that it wasn’t a problem here, he calmly explained the issue, and gave me a great price on a repair part, he literally charged me less for the part than Amazon. This dude is legit, I paid extra because I hope he stays around, good buisness is hard to find.

Strongly recommend this place. Seems knowledgeable and honest. He fixed my laptop to my expectation at no cost(condition: screen was sticking out and might need to replace the whole top part which was estimated $80 to $300 by other place). All I want was putting the popped out part back into the cage and not to spend tons of money since it is nearly 10 yrs old HP). He said it was free of charge. Voila!!! He will be my computer guy from now on.
