Spoke with “DoctorDave” and he seemed to want nothing to do with my business. Started the call with “I have X business in X location with a computer that needs repaired”. Rather than ask me to elaborate or try to assist me in figuring out what needed to be done he simply paused and then asked me what I wanted him to do with an air like, “Okay whatever, what do you want me to do about it?” as if I called McDonalds for computer repair. I then relayed that I believed it to be power supply failure as well as the steps I took with our store clerk to attempt to resolve/diagnose the issue. After which he immediately became combative for seemingly no reason and said “We don’t want this” and hung up on me. Please save yourself the time and the headache calling.

I was looking to replace the fan on an expensive laptop. Instead, I got a long email saying that other parts were going to fail : the “charging port, keyboard, mouse clicker, the screen hinges and that replacement options should be made.” He then said he would replace the fan for $120.00. I called and got another runaround that lasted nearly an hour. He suggested that a new laptop could be bought at COSTCO for $300 to $500. My laptop cost over $700. He didn’t think the manufacturer’s hardware scan saying the fan had failed to be reliable. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I called Dave and left a message which was promptly returned. My MacBook Air suddenly was totally unresponsive – blank screen, no sound. I described it to Dave and he said he would send a link with instructions I could try, and it worked! I was so thankful for his help; he could easily have charged me for a service call; I highly recommend him and will use him for any issues in the future.
