I left two laptops here to get repaired in 2021. Parts were scarce or unavailable , so I waited. I drive a tractor trailer all over the U.S. so it wasn’t a big deal. Every time I came home I would check in with them and everyone was extremely friendly. Today I went in and nobody could find my computers, and asked for a little time to find them. Somebody called me about an hour later saying my laptops were not there and after 90 days since last contact they were (disposed) not around and they could not or would not do anything to further assist me. I was shocked at this turn of events since there was never a hint of anything like this prior to today. I would not recommend using this establishment. I feel bad for the employees who were helping me initially, your management or owner is the issue. The employees who understood my job keeps me out of town worked with me, and I never received a phone call from this establishment. As far as I am concerned, my laptops were stolen by Down the Street IT.

I recently had an excellent experience with this company. I chose them to give my 8-year old laptop a new lease on life. They recommended (and subsequently replaced) the original hard drive with a solid state drive, which made my laptop perform better than new. This simple upgrade improved the performance so much that I feel like I’m using a newer, more powerful machine. Their recommendation was spot-on, and the cost was a fraction of what I would have to spend to buy a new laptop. The staff were professional and helpful, and they listened to and responded to my concerns before any work was performed. The work was completed fast, with no follow-up issues. I am so happy I don’t have to go through the hassle and expense of getting a new computer. It was worth driving nearly 40 miles to find a qualified shop. I highly recommend this company for electronics repair and support.

I was very impressed with my overall experience using Down The Street IT. I called and left a message and my call was returned within 90 minutes. I was able to explain my problem (cracked Chromebook screen) and came into the store to have it inspected and left for repair. They worked hard to find the needed glass, the repair was completed promptly, and the final cost was under the original estimate. I had the chance to interact with 3 of their staff, all were very cordial and provided great customer service. Glad to support a local business and I will return when I need to!
