Took in a laptop that was having a little screen issue (slightly split) everything still working fine just the screen view off a little. When the “technician” looked at it he said this is a new one, he had never seen that before… but later in his conversation he said it’s usually the cable that causes this… that should have been a clear warning.
He said they would need to take it apart to evaluate it and would call us back in a day at the latest. Two days no call, we called them, they informed us that the computer now didn’t work at all, nothing.
We were charged $60.00 for them to “guess” and disassemble and then not even call us back as they promised.
My guess and opinion, young “kids” with no formal training, definitely should have sent the computer back to HP.
This place might be good for “basics”, software issue, battery change, but I would not recommend for anything else!!
Also, have since Googled the issue and found numerous reports and the suggested “cures”, guessing they won’t work now that something “happened” during their evaluation.

Took my laptop in for some hardware work. Very pleased with the results. Problem fixed. Purchased some items on this visit and once before. Purchases were reasonably priced and as advertised. The technicians are great: very helpful and knowledgeable, generally pleasant to deal with, and able to make good recommendations when I tell them what I need.
They have had low staffing lately (written 9/12/2022), so turn-around time was a bit long. I’m not holding that against them because that’s happening to everyone, it’s hopefully temporary, and they are being proactive about the situation: They have just hired new people and are advertising to hire more. **Call before going on Saturday to make sure they are open.
All in all, a great local business to deal with! I will be back. 🙂
Dropped off an IPad third week of July,was told he would look at it that day and give me a call….I thought great service ,wrong10 days later I call to check, he told me it’s in front of me right now I’ll call you back and let you know what I find,that was 8/13 .today 8/21 I call, owner can’t tell me what’s going on I told him I’ll come and pick it up
