They are extremely careless. Almost hit my newly bought dryer with their truck while backing up. Then they pushed it around to save it from the hit. When they left, I realized that there is a huge scratch on the dryer start button. I paid decent amount of money for this machine and I received a scratched item due to geek team’s carelessness. In addition to that, they are very rude. The guy who called me to find the address hung up on my face. When arrived he was still disrespectful. He said he couldn’t hook up our dryer properly because our vent was oval. Turned out he was lying. Out vent was round and it was perfect fit for the new machine. They lie, they don’t care about your money and most importantly they don’t respect you. I am very disappointed of the service I received.

I had multiple TVs and a surround installed by geek squad and paid for the membership. They installed everything good and that’s it. I called to get somebody to come back out and I was transferred multiple times and hung up on. The geek squad sold this me never ship to me as if I could call them out if I had any issues with the tv and surround sound they hooked up. I called and they told me the membership is now only to bring computers in to be fixed. I don’t have computer issues I have a surround sound issue. The only good thing about the membership is getting a discount on installations outside of that do not get this.

I purchased as an unintentional “bait and switch”, but I decided not to give Best Buy a hard time about it. Sometimes I’ve received good service and other times I find it very difficult to get good or timely help and I have not used the service in many months (mostly because it is hard to get through the call queue). Just recently another $200 charge for the Geek Squad service appeared on my card as part of the automatic renewal…. Guess I’ll give them another year to impress me and perhaps I’ll change my rating (giving 3 stars at this time).
