If anyone have kids they know how important their tablets are to the. my 5 year old cracked the screen on his ipad and because it has Apple care I went on their website to set an appointment for repair and was redirected to BestBuy. I dropped the iPad off on 05/23 with GeekSquad and was told by the store manager and the geek squad agent I would have it back in ONE week. I was fine with it but to a toddler that’s a life time. I called on June 1st(More than a week later) for an update and was told they are waiting on the screen to be shipped should be about another 2-3 days. Called AGAIN today almost TWO weeks later and now I’m being told they are waiting for Apple to send the IPad back which is BS because my husband ordered his replacement AirPod from APPLE and got it in the mail 2 days later. I will NEVER use them again
After sending in our laptop for repair, they returned the machine with the exact same problem. Their technician’s repair sheet showed nothing was done to it. We tried calling geek squad for help and the phone has been ringing for 7 minutes straight. I’m impressed with just how awful this company is. Don’t waste time with them. Take your computer to Computers of Charleston and have Robert hook you up. He actually knows how to treat people and work on computers, something the 22 year old at Best Buy don’t know anything about.
I had a good experience with the Geek Squad. My wife made an appointment for something relatively easy to be done to a laptop. It needed to be reset to its factory settings. I got to the appointment early. Fortunately, there wasn’t a line. I was seen quickly, my issue was cared for promptly, and I was on my way within 10 minutes or so. I know most issues aren’t that simple, but David took care of the problem very well. I really appreciate his customer service. Thank you, David.
