Don’t take you Apple products to the Wesley chapel geek squad. To my apple iPhone for a simple battery change, they let me sit for 3 hours because they broke the screen and were trying to figure out how to one fix it and 2 how to tell me they couldn’t. Then the excuse that was given was they have only been repairing apple for 1 week and the tech said we are only given a manual to read, not actual training so…. Like that made it acceptable. I had to leave my phone, for the “expert” to fix it the next day. I was told they would call me, they didn’t. I was given excuse after excuse, I went in the store and again waited another 2 hours. Then an additional 30 minutes for them to figure out how to check me out for the repair. Then the I was told “well we have decided we are only going to charge you for the battery not the screen” really!? Like I was going to pay for for what they broke. Never again.

BUYER BEWARE — INCOMPETENT SERVICE TECHS — YOU OWN THE RISK

Brought in an iPhone 8 Plus for screen repair. After they replaced the screen, the phone was stuck in boot-loop and half the screen was dark… “oh well, heres a $50 gift card” even though now you have to shell out HUNDREDS more dollars to get a new phone!

Last year, I brought my laptop there to get fixed because the speakers stopped working, and they broke it and had to junk it. Thank God I had the warranty through Bestbuy on it or else I would have been SOL then too!

Until they royally screwed up, they were pretty rude, but I have never had a pleasant experience with geek squad or best buy staff…

Said that they can’t fix an apple back glass even though it says they can on the website and confirmed they could through the chat option. They said the phone needed to be replaced. Ended up having it replaced somewhere else. Yes, the back glass can be replaced… then went back for a simple battery replacement. Waited in line for 45 mins got to the front, spent 10 more minutes doing some tests Apple requires then said, oh we don’t have any in stock. Told me to take it to Apple. Why is an authorized repair center not keeping batteries in stock?
