my son broke my TV screen. I tried to call to speak the geek squad to see if they could repair my TV and the representative was not listening to anything I was asking. if you need anything repaired, it’s best to go to the store or not go here at all, their phone representatives are not at all helpful. I asked them if they would be able to repair a TV screen and the representative would not provide me a straight answer. I just wanted to get pricing or see if my TV is repairable. I don’t believe the representative understood what I was asking. I finally got frustrated and hung up. I will go somewhere else to have my TV screen repaired. I will not shop at Best Buy in the future due to this incident.. they need to get phone representatives that can interpret and understand actual English. If someone is asking a straightforward and clear question they should be able to answer that question without bringing up 20 other topics that don’t relate to what was being asked. terrible terrible terrible terrible service.
Ryan Kistler of the Wichita Falls Geek Squad is one of the more professional double agents on the squad. He listened to what issues I was having with my Smart TV and went right to work to resolve them without it costing me an arm & a leg. Ryan & his assistant are extremely knowledgeable, courteous and are a tremendous asset to the Geek Squad. If you have a problem with your wi-fi, your network, your computer or any other piece of electronic equipment within their bailiwick that is with the exception of installing microwave ovens. Sending Ryan and his partner to install a microwave is like sending a fireman to a false alarm; as it is a gross waste of talent.
So if you go by the store to schedule an appointment try to request Ryan Kistler by name because I can assure you will be glad you did!
Very disappointed. Customer service wouldn’t help my wife who traveled 50 miles to get her phone fixed because she was earlier than her appt time. They had technicians available but wouldn’t help due only to her showing up earlier than appt time. Being from out of town not knowing where to even spend 2 hours to wait.
